The Undercrypt of the Shadow Duke - *Playing*

The sound of water flowing was getting louder and louder, and the smell of the sewer was getting more evident. The tunnel came to an opening at a “T” intersection. There’s about a 3’ drop down to a narrow ledge that followed the stream. The main sewers were much more spacious than the tunnel. Ragnar and Eadric were the first to jump down onto the ledge. They both made it look fairly easy. Magnus was a little more awkward getting down and required some assistance from Ragnar. By the time they were ready to go, they could hardly see Eadric who had gone to their right and was at the edge of the range of the torch light. They hurried in single file to catch up to him. The main sewers took a left and the ledge opened up around the corner. In the shadow they noticed Eadric standing straight up as if he was frozen. Magnus and Ragnar looked at each other and slowly approached him. They noticed a large pile of rubble in the corner of the wall were a crevice was formed. “RATS!” Yelped Eadric as he dived behind Magnus and Ragnar. The rubble suddenly seemed to come to life as hundreds of rats started to come out of the crevice and crawled all over the floor, the walls and at your feet passed you. Out of the darkness of the crevice you notice a pair of yellow eyes appear. A large rat comes out charging you…
